Quotable
"This was a gritty come from behind win by our team," Presbyterian coach
Alaura Sharp said. "Winthrop does a good job playing physical which took us out of our game at the start so a lot of credit to them. We settled in after the beginning minutes of the game. We did a good job of getting to the free-throw line in the second half. We did a better job being aggressive off the dribble in the second half.
Jade Compton had a great game. She played like a senior who refused to lose.
Paige Kindseth had a really great game for us. I am proud of our team and our effort."
