Blue Hose Rally in Road Win at Coastal Carolina

CONWAY, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (11-7) rallied with three straight singles wins to top the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (7-8), 4-3, on the road for their fifth straight win.
 
"What a gutsy performance from the guys today," said Presbyterian coach John Collins.  "We really respect Coastal Carolina and we knew it was going to be a heavyweight battle. There were so many ups and downs in the match today. I'm so proud of the guys for weathering the storm and executing in big moments."
 
 DOUBLES
For the twelfth time this season, the Blue Hose captured the doubles point. Coastal Carolina posted the first doubles wins with a 6-3 victory on court two. The doubles tandem of Sebastian Dominguez and Javier Matos collected their fifth straight win tying the doubles matches at one win apiece with a 6-4 victory on court three. Presbyterian's Max Benson and Dusan Milanovic clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 7-5 win on court one. With the victory, Benson and Milanovic improved to 13-3 on the season.   
 
SINGLES
Presbyterian won three singles matches to collect the overall victory. Coastal Carolina tallied wins on number one, five, and six singles taking a 3-1 lead. At number two singles, Dominguez collected his 10th win of the season with a 7-5, 7-6 victory. Milanovic tied the score at three with his 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 win at number three singles. Milanovic's victory was his 10th of the season. The match came down to the winner at number four singles. Presbyterian's Matos recorded his 10th win of the season in a 7-6, 7-6 victory clinching the win for the Blue Hose.
