Blue Hose Head to Columbia for Gamecock Invite

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's and women's cross-country team move into the second half of its spring season on Saturday with a trip to the Gamecock Invite on tap in Columbia.

About the Meet
• The Blue Hose have seven runners traveling to compete at South Carolina on Saturday.
• On the men's side, the Blue Hose have William Johnson, James Marler, Ralph Guerra and Justin Nobles. Keyli Gomez, Caroline Rairigh and Julie Covil will be racing on the women's side for the Blue Hose
• The Teams competing at USC include: Allen, Augusta, Benedict, Catawba, Charleston Southern, The Citadel, Davidson, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Limestone, Mercer, Savannah State, S.C. State, VMI, UNC Wilmington, USC Upstate among other schools.

Spring Slate
• The spring slate wraps up on April 23 with the Georgia Tech Invite hosted by the Yellow Jackets. PC has already competed this spring at CIU and Southern Wesleyan.

Last Time Out
• The Presbyterian College cross country teams raced at the GottaRun Invite on Saturday hosted by Southern Wesleyan University and were led by Keyli Gomez with a third-place finish in the 3000 meters.
• Keyli Gomez posted a personal record with 11:34.62 in the women's 3000 meter to finish third overall in the race. Covil added a personal record in the same race at 12:28.37.
