GREENSBORO, N.C. – Morgan Hess drove in three runs as the Presbyterian Blue Hose (33-11, Big South: 18-6) finished the three-game series sweep with a 5-3 win at North Carolina A&T (13-31, Big South: 3-18) in the series final game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first inning, the Blue Hose scored two runs.
Kaitlyn Tucker scored the game's first run on
Jillian Hewes's double to center field. Then,
Lath Freeman scored the inning's second run on Hess's sacrifice fly to right field. In the bottom of the first inning, North Carolina A&T cut Presbyterian's lead in half with a run. In the third inning, the Blue Hose doubled their run total with two runs in the inning.
Jaiden Tweed connected on a home run over the center field for the inning's first run. Then a double by Hess to center field scored Tucker with the inning's other run. North Carolina A&T would score a run in the third and fourth innings cutting Presbyterian's lead to 4-3. In the fifth inning, a solo home run by Hess over the center field wall made the Blue Hose's final margin of victory, 5-3.
Jenna Greene scattered two hits and allowed two earned runs with five strikeouts over four innings to record her 17
th win of the season. Â
Haley Haselden pitched three shutout innings with four strikeouts for her third save of the season.
