Shutout in Home Opener – Last Thursday's 1-0 season-opening shutout victory over Georgia Southern marked the first time in Presbyterian's Division I era that the Blue Hose have begun the season with a shutout victory.
Scouting Southern Wesleyan
The Warriors lost their season-opening game to Georgia Southwestern, 3-0, on the road last Thursday. Southern Wesleyan recorded eight shots with one shot on goal in the game. Southern Wesleyan was picked 10
th in the preseason Conference Carolinas poll. Midfielder Hykeem Martin, who was a Second Team All-Conference Carolinas selection last season, returned to the Warriors lineup this year after scoring seven goals with three assists last season. Head Coach Josh Quarandillo is in his fourth season at Southern Wesleyan.
