CLEMSON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-1) suffered their first setback of the season with a 4-0 loss on the road at the No. 1 Clemson Tigers (7-1).

"We played a really good Clemson team tonight," Presbyterian coach
Jonathan Potter said. "We can take some positives from tonight's game, particularly with how we played in the first half. Now we will turn our attention to Radford as we look forward to starting Big South Conference play this Saturday."

HOW IT HAPPENED
Clemson scored their first goal with 31 seconds left in the first half when Marco Garcia scored.
Garcia finished the game with a hat trick with goals in the 48th minute and 51st minute. Â
Clemson's Tyler Trimnal concluded the scoring with a goal in the 73rd minute.

NOTABLES
- Presbyterian recorded eight shots in the game. Iragi Kalala led the Blue Hose with two shots. While Lorenzo Nagy, Gerard Lopez, Ryan Galloway, David Citron, Luke Gladden, and Chase Kenned tallied shots for the Blue Hose.
- Presbyterian's 5-0 start to the season set the school record for the best start by the Blue Hose men's soccer program in the Division I era.
- Twenty-three players saw action for Presbyterian in tonight's game at Clemson.
