Presbyterian began Big South Conference play with a 2-0 road win at Radford this past Saturday.
Lorenzo Nagy and
Gerard Lopez scored goals for the Blue Hose. The road win at Radford was the first time since the 2019 season that Presbyterian has won their Big South Conference road opener.

- Lopez, who has two game-winning goals, leads the Blue Hose with four goals. Nagy, who also has three game-winning goals, is second on the team with three goals. Chase Kennedy is third on the team with two goals. Nile Nguigjol leads the Blue Hose with two assists.
- The Blue Hose have a balanced offensive attack with ten different players scoring goals this season. Presbyterian leads the Big South Conference in goals with 16 (2.29 per game). Carson Griffith and Niklas Hoener have played a big role orchestrating the Blue Hose offensive attack in the central midfield.
- The Blue Hose defense behind the play of goalkeeper Leo Stritter and defenders Jordan Johnson, Cheikh Atamao, Vidar Ragnarsson, Connor Hudson, Uriel Ferguson and Ryan Galloway have recorded four shutouts while posting a Big South Conference leading 1.00 goals against average.
Big South Weekly Award
- Last week, Ragnarsson was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week (September 19). Ragnarsson was the sixth different player in the program's history to claim Big South Player of the Week honors. He also was named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
- Hudson was Big South Defensive Player of the Week (September 12). Hudson was the fifth player in the program's history to garner Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors.
- While, Stritter was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week for two straight weeks (September 6, September 12). He is the first player in the program's history to capture multiple Big South Freshman of the Week honors. A Presbyterian player has earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors the last three weeks.
Presbyterian-Jacksonville Series
Tuesday's game will be the fourth ever meeting between Presbyterian and Jacksonville. The Blue Hose have won two of the three previous meetings. Last season, Presbyterian behind a goal by former Blue Hose standout

Scouting Jacksonville
- The Dolphins are 3-3-2 on the season with all three of the wins coming at home. Jacksonville defeated Wright State, UC Riverside and Georgia Southern at home. In their last game, Jacksonville lost to Bellarmine, 1-0, at home this past Saturday.
- Joshua Araujo-Wilson, Olivier Correa and Cao Chaves have each scored two goals to lead the Dolphins. Moussa Sabaly has scored one goal while dishing out a team-leading six assists.
- Head coach Mauricio Ruiz is in his ninth season at the helm of the Dolphins' men's soccer program.
