The Presbyterian Blue Hose battled Big South Conference co-leader the Longwood Lancers to the very end before coming up just short with a 58-56 setback at the Templeton Center this past Saturday.
Trevon Reddish-Rhone led all scorers with 15 points while shooting 6-for-9 from the field.

Marquis Barnett averages 8.6 points per game and is tied for the team lead in rebounding, averaging 5.3 boards per game.

COACH FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fourth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 52 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks that are coaching their alma maters.
PRESBYTERIAN-UNC ASHEVILLE SERIES
Wednesday's game marks the 37
th meeting between Presbyterian and UNC Asheville, who leads the all-time series 25-11. UNC Asheville has won the previous three games between the two teams including a 98-96 triple-overtime thriller at home in last season's regular-season finale on February 26, 2022.
