Presbyterian Travels to North Carolina to Play UNCW

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-4) travel to the North Carolina coast to play the UNCW Seahawks (0-1) on Sunday, January 29 at 12 p.m.
 
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARD
Dusan Milanovic (January 18) and Max Benson (January 25) have claimed the last two Big South Player of the Week awards. This week, David Mamalat (January 25) was named the Big South Freshman of the Week.
 
PRESEASON BIG SOUTH FAVORITE
The Blue Hose were picked first in the preseason Big South Coaches' Poll.  
 
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The doubles team of Benson and Milanovic entered the spring ranked No. 22 in the ITA doubles rankings after a highly successful fall. Milanovic entered the spring ranked No. 63 in the ITA singles rankings.
 
SPRING SEASON RESULTS
This season in singles play, Milanovic has a perfect 4-0 record while Benson is 3-1 on the season. Javier Matos has tallied three singles wins while Sebastian Dominguez has collected two wins this season. The doubles tandem of Mamalat and Teo Cariov recorded two wins last week.
 
UNCW
The Seahawks captured the CAA Championship last season which included a 9-2 record at home. In their season-opening match, UNCW lost 7-0 on the road at No. 1 Virginia on January 15. UNCW's doubles team of Reece Falck and Chris Rodesch defeated Virginia's number one doubles team, 6-4.
