Junior forward Damorney Hutchinson scored two goals and midfielders freshman Sandro Rabarivony and senior Carson Griffith also scored goals in Presbyterian's 4-2 road win at USC Upstate this past Saturday.
 
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Hutchinson, Griffith, and freshman forward Victor Faaborg are tied for the team lead with four goals apiece. Rabarivony has scored two goals this season, Junior defender Reudd Manin, freshman midfielder Alex Walker, freshman midfielder Jose Gutierrez, sophomore midfielder Chase Kennedy, senior defender Ryan Galloway, and senior defender Jordan Johnson have scored goals this season. Freshman midfielder Diego Hernandez leads the team with four assists. Faaborg Christensen, Hutchinson, and Walker are second on the team with two assists apiece. Hutchinson leads the team with 22 shots. Hernandez is second on the team with 21 shots.
Freshman goalkeeper Murray Beatty has recorded two shutouts this season. He has tallied 30 saves with four wins in goal.
 
The Blue Hose have scored 20 goals this season with 14 goals coming in the second half.
 
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY HONORS
This week, Rabarivony was named Big South Freshman of the Week after scoring a goal and dishing out an assist in Presbyterian's 4-2 road win at USC Upstate on October 7.
On September 25, Murray earned Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors and Faaborg Christensen claimed his second Big South Freshman of the Week award after helping the Blue Hose begin Big South Conference play with a 3-2 road win at UNC Asheville on September 23. Murray was the sixth player in school history to earn Big South Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Faaborg Christensen was the second player in the program's history to earn multiple Big South Freshman of the Week awards. 

On August 28, Faaborg Christensen earned his first Big South Freshman of the Week after recording a hat trick in PC's 8-1 win over Southern Wesleyan. Faaborg Christensen was the seventh player in the program's history to earn Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-HIGH POINT SERIES
Wednesday's game marks the 18^th meeting between Presbyterian and High Point, who leads the series 11-1-5. The previous two games between the two teams have ended in a scoreless draw.
 
SCOUTING HIGH POINT
The Panthers enter the game with a 6-2-2 overall record and a 3-0 mark in the Big South. High Point has won their last two games with victories over Radford and Longwood.
 
Forward Noah Holmes was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week this week.  Senior defender Finn McRobb leads the team with four goals. Holmes, sophomore midfielder Jefferson Amaya, and senior forward Kaya Ignacio are tied for second on the team with three goals.
 
High Point coach Zach Haines is in his fifth season as head coach. Last season, High Point won the Big South Tournament title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
