CLINTON, S.C. – After a late Winthrop goal, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-7-1, Big South: 2-2-1) lost to the Eagles (4-6-2, Big South: 3-0-2), 2-1, in Martin Stadium on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the 40
th minute, Winthrop scored the game's first goal when Kade McKenzie scored off a Stefan Sildor assist.
In the 55
th minute, after the ball bounced around in the box, Presbyterian's
Victor Faaborg Christensen corralled the ball and blasted the ball into the back of the net from 10 yards out tying the score at one. Faaborg Christensen's goal was his team-leading fifth of the season.
With just over five minutes left in the game, Winthrop's Nick Guido scored the game-winning goal off a Grayson Woodard assist.
NOTABLES
The Blue Hose finished the game with a 13-8 advantage in shots and a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Damorney Hutchinson led the Blue Hose with four shots. Faaborg Christensen,
Diego Hernandez, and
Sandro Rabarivony tallied two shots apiece.
Ryan Galloway,
Iragi Kalala, and
Lorenzo Nagy each added a shot to the Blue Hose's offensive attack.
