BIG SOUTH WEEKLY HONORS
On September 25, Murray earned Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors and Faaborg Christensen claimed his second Big South Freshman of the Week award after helping the Blue Hose begin Big South Conference play with a 3-2 road win at UNC Asheville on September 23. Murray is the sixth player in school history to earn Big South Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Faaborg Christensen is the second player in the program's history to earn multiple Big South Freshman of the Week awards.
On August 28, Faaborg Christensen earned his first Big South Freshman of the Week after recording a hat trick in PC's 8-1 win over Southern Wesleyan. Faaborg Christensen was the seventh player in the program's history to earn Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
PRESBYTERIAN-WOFFORD SERIES
Tuesday's game marks the eighth meeting between Presbyterian and Wofford, who leads the series, 4-3. The Blue Hose beat Wofford, 3-2, on the road in their previous meeting on September 13, 2022. PC collected a 2-1 overtime win over Wofford in their last contest in Clinton on September 14, 2021.
SCOUTING WOFFORD
- Presbyterian head coach Nick Finotti is in his season with the Blue Hose after spending the last four years as an assistant coach at Wofford.
- Wofford has an 2-2-5 record on the season. After losing their first two games of the season to Gardner-Webb and Charlotte, the Terriers have not lost and posted a 2-0-5 mark during that stretch. Last week, Wofford beat Winthrop, 4-2, at home and then tied ETSU, 0-0, on the road.
- Sophomore forward Nikolai Rojel leads the Terriers with seven goals which includes recording a hat trick in the win over Wofford.
- Head Coach Joel Tyson is in his fifth season at Wofford.
