BIG SOUTH WEEKLY HONORS
On October 9, Rabarivony was named Big South Freshman of the Week after scoring a goal and dishing out an assist in Presbyterian's 4-2 road win at USC Upstate on October 7. Rabarivony is the eighth player in the program's history to claim the Big South Freshman of the Week award.
On September 25, Murray earned Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors and Faaborg Christensen claimed his second Big South Freshman of the Week award after helping the Blue Hose begin Big South Conference play with a 3-2 road win at UNC Asheville on September 23. Murray is the sixth player in school history to earn Big South Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Faaborg Christensen is the second player in the program's history to earn multiple Big South Freshman of the Week awards.
On August 28, Faaborg Christensen earned his first Big South Freshman of the Week after recording a hat trick in PC's 8-1 win over Southern Wesleyan.
PRESBYTERIAN-LONGWOOD SERIES
Saturday's game marks the 13
th meeting between Presbyterian and Longwood. The Blue Hose lead the series, 8-3-1. In their last game at Longwood, Presbyterian defeated Longwood, 2-1, on October 23, 2021. The Blue Hose recorded a 1-0 shutout win in their previous game against Longwood which came at Presbyterian's Martin Stadium on October 23, 2022.
SCOUTING LONGWOOD
The Lancers enter the game with a 5-5-3 overall record and an 0-4-1 Big South Conference record. Longwood has lost two of their last three games but during that stretch, the Lancers defeated George Washington, 2-1, on the road. Redshirt junior forward Emilio Segovia, senior defender Mason Butcher, and junior midfielder Ethan Stevenson lead the team with two goals apiece.
