CLINTON, S.C. – Sophomore libero Sophia Del Valle of the Presbyterian College volleyball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week. She collected the award after recording 33 digs (4.13 dpg), 10 assists, and two service aces in Presbyterian's victories against UNC Asheville and USC Upstate last weekend.
 
This Canton, Georgia native led the team with 13 digs, while also recording four assists, to help PC beat UNC Asheville 3-1 on the road Friday. In the Blue Hose 3-1 win over USC Upstate on Saturday, Valle once again led PC with 20 digs, while she also tallied six assists, and two service aces.
 
This season, Valle has recorded a team leading 196 digs while adding 47 assists to the Blue Hose efforts.
 
The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement last November as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
