CLINTON, S.C.  – In their final tune-up before the season starts next week, the Presbyterian Blue Hose rolled over the Carolina Christian Centurions, 126-57, in an exhibition game at the Templeton Center on Thursday evening.

Twelve Presbyterian players scored at least six points with seven players in double-figures.
Kobe Stewart scored a game-high 17 points while shooting 6-for-7 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Jonah Pierce scored 16 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting from the field.
Marquis Barnett,
Houston Jones, who was 4-for-4 from the field, and
Crosby James, who was 4-for-5 from beyond the three-point arc, chipped in with 12 points apiece. Â
Jaylen Peterson, who was 4-for-4 from the field, and
Carl Parrish tallied 11 points each. Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Presbyterian behind the scoring of Parrish, Stewart, and
Kory Mincy began the game on a 9-0 scoring run. With 13:39 on the clock, James knocked down a three pushing the Blue Hose in front 26-4. With just under nine minutes left in the half consecutive threes from James and Barnett gave the Blue Hose a 45-11 lead with 8:20 left in the half. PC enjoyed a 38-point lead on two occasions in the half.
Kaleb Scott converted on a layup with 3:49 on the clock pushing the Blue Hose in front, 54-16. Carolina Christian scored and then a
Quadir Pettaway fast break layup increased PC's lead back to 38 pints, 56-18. Presbyterian led Carolina Christian, 62-26, at the half.

SECOND HALF – The Blue Hose began the half on a 12-0 scoring run giving PC a 74-26 lead. Presbyterian increased their lead to 50, 60, and 70 points over the remainder of the half. With 2:12 left in the game, a three from Jones gave the Blue Hose their largest lead, 123-49. Â

- Presbyterian forced Carolina Christian into 19 turnovers which led to 33 points off those turnovers.
- Presbyterian scored 64 points in the paint.
- The Blue Hose bench outscored Carolina Christian, 72-22.
- Presbyterian shot a blistering 71.4 percent (50-for-70 from the field) from the field and 53.8 percent (14-for-26) from beyond the three-point arc.
