LAST TIME OUT
Earlier this week, the Blue Hose took a trip to Wilmington, N.C. where they defeated the UNCW Seahawks 64-51. Presbyterian's Tilda Sjökvist scored a new season-high of 18-points in her efforts against the Seahawks while Bryanna Brady led the team with 20-points which was her second time scoring 20+ points this season. As a team the Blue Hose recorded new season-highs with a 54.2 field goal percentage (26-of-48) and an 88.9 free throw percentage (8-of-9). PC also recorded 16 assists, nine steals, 27 rebounds, and scored 34-points in the paint.
 
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Morehead State enters Saturday's game with a 2-3 record with their last two games being wins over Midway (KY) and Ohio with losses to No. 23 Illinois, Alabama, and Lipscomb. The Eagles average 74.0 points per game and 40.8 rebounds per game. Their five opponents have averaged 70.8 points per game and 33.2 rebounds per game. Senior guard Veronica Charles leads the team with 11.2 points per game while Junior guard Melissa Secchiaroli averages 10.6 points per game.
 
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
Brady was named the Big South's Offensive Player of the Week (November 20). After the Presbyterian College women's basketball team competed in two games, standout sixth year center Bryanna Brady earned her second career Big South Offensive Player of the Week honor for her performances. For the week, she totaled 40-points and shot 16-of-24 from the field while shooting 8-of-10 free throws, recording four offensive rebounds, eight defensive rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.
 
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-FIGURE SCORERS
Over the first six games, Presbyterian has already had eight different players score in double-figures. Brady (four times), Sjökvist (three times), Kierscht (three times), Carrillo (once), Kline (once), Neira (once), Kindseth (once), and Cunill (once) have all tallied double-digit scoring games this season.
 
PRESBYTERIAN – MOREHEAD STATE SERIES
In Presbyterian College's division I history they have competed against Morehead State only two times. First in the 2009-10 season where the Eagles won with a score of 62-51. These two teams didn't see each other for the next twelve seasons until they competed for the second time in the 2022-23 season. In last season's game Morehead walked away with a 59-54 victory. Saturday's game will mark the third-ever meeting between the two teams.
