FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team finished their fall season after playing 36 holes at the Big South Preview at the Ocean Creek Golf Course on Monday afternoon.
Presbyterian finished the tournament with a two-round score of 578 (+10). The Blue Hose posted a first-round score of 293 and a second-round score of 285. Winthrop and Gardner-Webb finished tied for first place with a 36-hole score of 571 (+3). USC Upstate's Alex Prentice captured the tournament's individual title with a two-round score of 136 (-6). Lleyton Renner finished in fifth place to lead the Blue Hose with a score of 141 (-1). While fellow senior
Columb Knight shot a 142 (E) to finish in sixth place.

Notables
- In his opening round, Renner shot a one-under-par 70 highlighted by an eagle on the Par-5 512-yard hole number 18. Renner also had two birdies and 12 pars on his round. In the final round, Renner recorded three birdies and 12 pars on the way to an even par round of 71.
- In the first round, Knight shot a 73 (+2) with four birdies and 11 pars. In his final round, Knight shot a 69 (-2) with five birdies and 10 pars on the round.
- Freshman Gage Howard finished tied for seventh place with a two-round score of 143 (+1). In his first round, he shot a 73 (+2) with four birdies and 10 pars. In the second round, he shot a 70 (-1) with five birdies and nine pars.
- Senior Thomas Hollingsworth finished tied for 13th place with a two-round score of 147 (+5). In his opening round, he posted a score of 75 (+4) with three birdies and nine pars. In the final round, he shot a 72 (+1) with five birdies and nine pars.
- Junior Jack Wofford finished in 15th place with a two-round score of 148 (+6). In his first round, Wofford shot a 75 (+4) with one birdie and 12 pars. In his second round, he recorded a score of 73 (+2) with one birdie and 12 pars.
- Senior Jimmy McCollum finished in 25th place with a two-round score of 153 (+11). In the first round, McCollum shot a 76 (+5) with 15 pars. In his final round, he shot a 77 (+6) with two birdies and 10 sacks.
- Senior Frank Gilliam finished tied for 26 with a two-round score of 155 (+13). In his opening round, Gilliam shot an 80 with one birdie and 10 pars. He recorded a score of 75 in the second round with one birdie and 12 pars.
