Blue Hose Honor Their Seniors in Templeton Before Final Match of Regular Season

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose volleyball team returns to Templeton Center for senior night with their final matchup of the regular season on Friday, November 10 at 6:00 p.m. against Charleston Southern.

SENIOR NIGHT
On Friday before match start we are honoring four seniors who have been a part of the Presbyterian College's volleyball program for four years now. These seniors include setter Kinsey Bailey, middle blocker Jordan McAda, middle blocker Hailey Grocholski, and opposite Kasey Battle.
 
A LOOK AT THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian goes into this match ranked fourth place in the Big South Conference standings, with wins over Charleston Southern, UNC Asheville, USC Upstate (x2), Gardner-Webb, and Radford. The Blue Hose are ranked first in the conference for average blocks per game as a team with 2.31 bpg. Senior opposite Kasey Battle leads the team with 237 kills (2.49 kpg) and she also has a 2.83 hitting percentage, 51 blocks, and 116 digs so far this season. Junior outside hitter Hannah Rowe leads the team with 2.75 kills per set after recording 223 kills so far this season, she also has tallied 209 digs and 40 blocks. Senior setter Kinsey Bailey is currently ranked fifth in the conference for recording .40 service aces per set this season. Senior middle blocker Hailey Grocholski is ranked third for average blocks per set with a 1.06 average. Sophomore libero Sophia Del Valle is ranked fifth in conference for her 3.93 average digs per set.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
The Buccaneers have a 3-10 Big South Conference record with wins over Radford and two against UNC Asheville. Over their first 27 games of the season they have averaged 11.2 kills per set while recording a .166 hitting percentage. Charleston Southern's stat leaders include Giada Pais-Marden who leads the team in kills with 223 while hitting at .165 percent. Ilaria Durante leads the Buccaneers with 706 assists (6.92 apg). Brenna Rowland leads with 52 block assists and 14 solo blocks. These two teams played a match earlier in the season where the Blue Hose walked away with a 3-1 victory. Presbyterian leads the all-time series between the two teams 20-15. Charleston Southern is coached by Carry Brown who is in her first year as head coach for the Buccaneers.
