LAST TIME OUT
Presbyterian defeated NC Central, 76-58, in Templeton Center this past Wednesday. Three players scored in double-figures led by Tilda Sjökvist with 21 points. Sjökvist also recorded five threes, six assists, and a steal. Bryanna Brady tallied 15 points while shooting 7-of-10 from the field and securing seven rebounds. Núria Cunill added 10 points to Presbyterian's efforts while shooting a perfect 5-of-5 from the field with five rebounds, and two assists.
 
SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
Western Carolina enters Saturday's game with a 2-5 record with wins over Agnes Scott and UNC Wilmington and loses to Radford, UAB, Campbell, NC Central, and Georgia State. The Catamounts average 61 points per game and 35.3 rebounds per game. Graduate Student forward Lonasia Brewer leads the team with 10 points per game while senior guard Zanoria Cruz averages 9.6 ppg.
 
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE FIGURE SCORERS
Over the first seven games, Presbyterian has already had eight different players score in double-figures. Brady (five times), Sjökvist (five times), Kierscht (three times), Neira (three times), Carrillo (once), Kline (once), Kindseth (once), and Cunill (once) have all tallied double-digit scoring games this season.
 
PRESBYTERIAN – WESTERN CAROLINA SERIES
In Presbyterian College's Division I history they have competed against Western Carolina four times. The first time these two teams faced off was in the 2013-14 season where the Catamounts won, 42-38. These two teams met last season where the Blue Hose won by just one-point with a score of 68-67. The overall record between the two teams is tied at two apiece.
