Eleven Presbyterian Blue Hose players scored led by six double-figure scorers as Presbyterian cruised past the Mid-Atlantic Christian Mustangs, 118-51, in front of a season-high Education Day crowd of 1,007. Presbyterian's 118 points set the program's Division I era record for most points in a game. Junior guard Jamahri Harvey and junior forward Jonah Pierce scored 16 points apiece. Harvey was a perfect 6-for-6 shooting from the field including 3-for-3 from beyond the three-point arc. Pierce also grabbed nine rebounds. Junior forward Kaleb Scott and junior guard Marquis Barnett scored 15 points each. Scott was a perfect 7-for-7 from the field while grabbing five rebounds. Barnett grabbed five rebounds with five steals and four assists. Freshmen guards Kory Mincy and Carl Parrish each scored 11 points off the bench. Trevon Reddish-Rhone with a strong all-around game with nine points, seven rebounds, and a season-high seven assists. Kobe Stewart scored eight points off the bench while shooting 3-for-5 from the field.  Presbyterian finished the game with a 58-14 advantage on points in the paint and a 55-11 advantage on bench points.
 
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBER – Barnett leads the team in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game while distributing 3.1 assists per game. Junior guard Samage Teel is second on the team in scoring averaging 12.2 points per game while dishing out 3.4 assists per game. Teel has connected on a team-leading 16 three-point field goals. Pierce leads the team in rebounding averaging 5.8 boards per game while averaging 10.5 points per game. Senior forward Kobe Stewart is second on the team in rebounding at 5.2 boars per game. Stewart chips in with 7.1 points per game. Harvey averages 8.2 points. Senior guard Crosby James has connected on 11 three-point field goals. Mincy has knocked down 13 three-point field goals this season. As a team, PC is averaging 79.2 points per game while shooting 49.8 percent from the field. The Blue Hose defense has limited their opponents to 68.7 points per game.
 
PERFECT FROM THE FIELD - Juniors forward Kaleb Scott and guard Jamahri Harvey shot 100 percent from the field in PC's win over Mid-Atlantic Christian (December 13). Scott was 7-for-7 while Harvey was 6-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 beyond the three-point arc.
 
REACHING THE CENTURY MARK - PC scored 118 points in the win over Mid-Atlantic Christian (December 13) which set the program's record for the most points scored in a game in the Division I era. Earlier this season, Presbyterian scored 100 points in  their 100-58 win over CIU (November 9). What is even more remarkable about that is the Blue Hose scored 91 points over the final 30 minutes of the game. The last time before the CIU game that Presbyterian scored 100 points was in a 106-59 win over UNC Asheville on March 5, 2019. In the Division I era, the Blue Hose have scored at least 100 points in a game 13 times, and PC is 13-0 in those games. In the 2018-19 season, Presbyterian scored 100 points five times. In the 2017-18 and this season, PC has reached the century mark twice. In the 2016-17, 2015-16, 2011-12, and 2007-08 seasons, PC recorded one hundred point scoring game in each of those seasons.
 
BENCH POINTS - The Blue Hose behind three double-figure scorers off the bench in the win over Mid-Atlantic Christian (December 13) tallied 55 bench points. The 55 bench points are the most scored by PC since recording 58 points in the win over Allen last season, December 19, 2022. Presbyterian averages 32.5 bench points.
 
PAINT TOUCHES - Presbyterian recorded their third 50-plus points in the paint scoring output of the season with a season-high 58 points in the paint in the win over Mid-Atlantic Christian (December 13). The Blue Hose scored 56 points in the paint at Elon (November 27). PC scored 50 points in the paint against CIU (November 9). The Blue Hose average 38.4 points per game in the paint. The 58 points in the paint against Mid-Atlantic Christian marked the most points in the paint in a single game by the Blue Hose since scoring 60 points in the paint at UNC Asheville (February 26, 2022).
 
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS - Barnett garnered Big South Player of the Week honors (November 20). Barnett is the eighth different Blue Hose player to earn the Big South Men's Basketball Player of the Week award in the program's history. For the week, he averaged 14.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game in helping lead the Blue Hose to a 3-1 record last week with a home win over The Citadel, a road win at North Florida, and a neutral site win over Northwestern State.
 
Mincy earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors (December 11), He is the 10th player in the program's history to earn the award. Mincy scored 11 points, dished out three assists and grabbed two rebounds against Florida A&M (December 6).
 
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fifth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.

SCOUTING KENNESAW STATE
The Owls enter the game with a 7-3 record with wins over Oakwood, Keiser, Georgia Southern, Northeastern, Georgia State, UNC Asheville, and USC Upstate. Four Kennesaw State players average double-figure points led by sophomore guard Simeon Cottle at 16.3 points per game. Senior guard Terrell Burden (13.6 ppg), senior forward Demond Robinson (13.0 ppg), and senior guard Quincy Ademokoya (12.1 ppg) round out the double-figure scorers. Robinson leads the team in rebounding averaging 8.9 boards per game. Kennesaw State averages 85.5 points and 9.2 three-point field goals made per game.
