WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (7-7) lost to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (8-3), 91-63, on the road on Thursday afternoon.

Samage Teel led the Blue Hose with 17 points. Teel connected on three three-point field goals in the game. Junior guard
Jamahri Harvey scored 14 points. Junior forward
Jonah Pierce led the Blue Hose with eight rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Teel started the Blue Hose scoring off with an old-fashioned three-point play. The Blue Hose had a 10-8 lead at the 17:22 mark of the half after five straight points from Harvey. Then, Wake Forest scored five straight points. Teel knocked down a three from the wing tying the score at 13 at the 15:23 mark. Wake Forest went on a 7-0 run. PC responded with six straight points after another three from Teel and a three-point play from
Crosby James. With Wake Forest leading 22-19, Harvey knocked down another three tying the score at 22 with 11:12 on the clock. The Demon Deacons scored seven of the next nine points taking a 29-24 lead. The Blue Hose cut Wake Forest's lead to one point on a couple of occasions over the next few minutes. With Wake Forest's leading 37-33, Harvey scored four straight points on a layup and two free throws tying the score at 37 with 10 seconds on the clock. Wake Forest's Kevin Miller converted on a three-point play in the final seconds of the half giving the Demon Deacons a 40-37 halftime lead.

SECOND HALF – Presbyterian tied the score at 40 after a layup from
Marquis Barnett and a made free throw from
Kaleb Scott. Then, Wake Forest took control of the game with a 13-0 scoring run taking a 53-40 lead with 14:23 on the clock. PC was not able to get any closer to Wake Forest for the rest of the game.

- Harvey collected his sixth double-figure scoring game of the season with his 14 points.
- Teel posted his ninth double-digit scoring game of the season with his 17 points.
