CLINTON, S.C.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (6-4) had three players score in double-figures but the Blue Hose fell to the Florida A&M Rattlers (1-5), 65-60, in the Templeton Center on Wednesday evening.

Guards Jamahri Harvey and Kory Mincy paced the Blue Hose with 11 points apiece. Kobe Stewart rounded out the Blue Hose double-figure scorers with 10 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – The lead exchanged hands several times with a couple of ties over the first 10 minutes. During that stretch, Presbyterian's Crosby James connected on a three while being fouled and converted on the free throw for a four-point play. With the score tied at 18 at the 9:13 mark, Mincy and Jonah Pierce scored giving the Blue Hose a 22-18. PC maintained the lead until the 6:57 mark when PC leading 26-23, Florida A&M went on a 13-0 scoring run taking a 36-26 lead with two and a half minutes left in the half. After two free throws by Trevon Reddish-Rhone, the Blue Hose cut FAMU's lead to eight points but that would be as close they would get the rest of the half as Florida A&M held a 41-32 lead at the half.

SECOND HALF – Florida A&M scored 10 straight points to start the half increasing their lead to 51-32 with 14:56 on the clock. Presbyterian behind the scoring of James, Harvey, Kaleb Scott, and Mincy went on a 14-0 scoring run cutting FAMU's lead to 51-46 after Harvey connected on two free throws with 7:48 on the clock. The Rattlers increased their lead to 55-47 just over a minute later. Mincy connected on a jump shot just outside the lane getting the Blue Hose within three points, 57-54, with 4:05 on the clock. Florida A&M pushed their lead to 61-55 with 2:51 on the clock. Five straight points from Harvey cut Florida A&M's lead to 61-60 with 1:55 on the clock. Presbyterian was not able to take the lead as Florida A&M scored the final four points of the game for the 65-61 win.
