STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-6) lost to the Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-1), who received votes in this week's ITA Top 25 poll, 7-0, on the road.
 
DOUBLES
Mississippi State won at number one and two doubles to claim the doubles point. The loss ended the Blue Hose's three-match streak of capturing the doubles point.   
 
SINGLES
The Blue Hose battled but PC came up short in all the singles matches. At number three singles Sebastian Dominguez, at number four singles Javier Matos and at number six singles David Mamalat all won four games in their respective first sets. At number two singles, Presbyterian's Max Benson lost to Mississippi State's Petar Jovanovic, who is ranked No. 107 in the ITA singles rankings, in three hard-fought sets, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-3).
