AIKEN S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team completed their first two rounds at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon. The Blue Hose are in 12
th place with a two-round score of 588 (+28). Presbyterian collected a first-round score of 295 and a second-round score of 293.
South Carolina is leading the tournament with a two-round score of 553 (-7). Â Wisconsin's Cameron Huss and Mercer's Tobias Jonsson are tied for the lead with two-round scores of 134 (-6). PC is led by
Lleyton Renner who is currently tied for 29
th place with a two-round score of 144 (+4). Â
Notables
- Renner collected two birdies and 15 pars in round one and one birdie and 13 pars in his second round.
- Jimmy McCollum is tied for 40th place with a two-round score of 146 (72 in the first round and 74 in the second round). McCollum tallied three birdies including birdies on holes 17 and 18 to go along with 11 pars in his opening round. Then, he recorded three birdies and nine pars in his second round.
- Columb Knight and Jack Wofford are tied for 50th place with two-round scores of 149. Knight recorded scores of 75 and 74 in the first and second rounds respectively. Wofford posted scores of 74 and 75 in his two rounds. Â Knight collected two birdies and 24 pars on the day. Wofford recorded six birdies and 18 pars in his two rounds.
- Thomas Hollingsworth is tied for 71st place with a two-round score of 156. The highlight of his day was an eagle on hole number four, a Par 4-388 yard hole, in the second round. He had one eagle, four birdies, and 14 pars over his two rounds.
