CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golfer James Rhodes was named the Big South Freshman of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon. Rhodes earned the award after finishing tied for 14th place at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate, March 27-29.

Rhodes is the ninth different Blue Hose men's golfer to earn the Big South Freshman of the Week award in the program's history.

PERFORMANCE THIS WEEK
The Columbia, South Carolina native finished tied for 14th to pace the Blue Hose at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate. Rhodes finished the tournament with a three-round score of 218 (+2). He posted rounds of 72, 77, and 69. In the three rounds, he had 13 birdies and 29 pars. 

PLAY THIS SEASON
Rhodes has a 75.0 strokes per round average, while posting seven rounds of 72 or lower, including two rounds of a season low 69.
