KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Sophomore
Jeep Patrick is tied for third place after two rounds to pace the Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, N.C.
Patrick posted a two-round score of 140 (-2) with rounds of 69 and 71.
Presbyterian is in fifth place after two rounds with a score of 580 (+12) with rounds of 293 and 287. Catawba leads the 11-team field with a two-round score of 562 (-6).
Notables
- Patrick posted a first-round score of 69 (-2) with five birdies and 10 pars. On his second round of 71 (E), he recorded one birdie and 16 pars.
- Junior Spence Hagood is tied for 16th place with a two-round score of 143 (+1) with rounds of 70 and 73. In his first round of 70, he had three birdies and 13 pars on his round. On his second round 73, he recorded three birdies and 11 pars.
- Freshman James Rhodes is tied for 38th place with a two-round score of 148, with rounds of 77 and 71. In his opening round 77, he had 12 pars on the round. On his second round, he recorded an eagle three on the Par 5 587-yard 14th hole. He also had two birdies and 12 pars on the round.
- Sophomore Gage Gaskins posted a two-round score of 150 (+8) with rounds of 78 and 72 to finish the day tied for 53rd place. In the first round, he scored 78 with one birdie and 10 pars. In the second round, he had four birdies and nine pars on his round of 72.
- Sophomore Richard Anaclerio collected a two-round score of 152 (+10) with rounds of 77 and 75. In his first round of 77, he had one birdie and 11 pars on his round. On his second round of 75, he had four birdies and nine pars.
- Senior Austin Skoog tallied a two-round score of 157 (+15) with rounds of 78 and 79. In his first round of 78, he had 12 pars. On his second round of 78, he had one birdie and eight pars.
