AIKEN S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team completed play with the third round at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The Blue Hose finished in 12
th place with a three-round score of 889 (+49).
South Carolina won the tournament with a score of 838 (-2). Â Mercer's Tobias Jonsson captured the tournament's individual championship with a three-round score of 204 (-6). PC was led by
Lleyton Renner who finished tied for 30
th place with a three-round score of 219 (+9).
Notables
- In his third round, Renner eagled hole number 10, a Par 5-482 yard hole. He had 10 pars to go along with the eagle on his final round.
- Jimmy McCollum finished tied for 45th place with a three-round score of 222 (+12) after tallying a 76 in his third round. McCollum had four birdies and five pars on his round.
- Columb Knight finished tied for 50th place with a three-round score of 224 (+14) while recording a 75 in his final round. He collected three birdies and seven pars on his round.
- Jack Wofford finished in 58th place with a score of 226 (+16) after his three rounds which included a final round score of 77. On his round, he posted two birdies and eight pars.
- Thomas Hollingsworth finished tied for 67th place with a score of 231 (+21) including a third-round score of 75. He posted one birdie and 11 pars on his round.
