- Evan Cuervo connected on his first college homer in the sixth to get the Blue Hose on the board in the midweek contest.

- Cuervo's sixth inning homer was the freshman's first of his college career. It's the 12th player for the Blue Hose to connect on a homer this season.
- Senior Tanner Smith tallied a pair of strikeouts on Tuesday in relief work marking his 14th straight outing with a strikeout and 10th time to record a pair this season.
- Freshman Jeremiah Hampton matched his career-high with a pair of strikeouts for the second time in his young career.
