CLINTON, S.C. – The Blue Hose used the power of a six-run first to carry the Presbyterian College baseball team past ETSU on Wednesday night by the score of 16-3 at the PC Baseball Complex. Joel Dragoo connected on a team-high three hits as Trey Fenderson, Noah Lebron and Amman Dewberry each hit homers in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- ETSU got the quick start with an RBI single in the opening half inning to take the early 1-0 advantage.
- PC responded in a big way with a solo homer off the bat of Fenderson to quickly even the score at one. The offense wasn't done yet with an RBI double off the bat of Dalton Reeves before a two-run single from Dragoo made it 4-1.
- The Blue Hose kept it going in the first with an RBI double from Evan Cuervo before an RBI single from Jay Wetherington to cap a six-run first inning giving the hosts a 6-1 lead.
- Jack Gorman pushed across an RBI single in the second to make it 7-1 after just two innings.
- The two teams remained scoreless till the sixth when the Bucs pushed across a two-run single to cut the PC advantage to four, 7-3.
- PC answered in its half of the sixth as Kyle Merkle connected on an RBI double before Wetherington tallied an RBI single quickly after to increase the lead to 9-3.
- Reeves added a sacrifice fly in the sixth before a run scampered home on an ETSU wild pitch that increased the lead to 11-3 after six.
- Lebron connected on a two-run homer in the seventh before Gorman added an RBI single that made it 14-3 after seven frames.
- The scoring was capped in the eighth with a two-run homer off the bat of Dewberry that pushed PC to a 16-3 victory over the Bucs on Wednesday night.

- Dragoo led the offense as he matched a career-high with three hits while also tallying a career-best three runs knocked in to pace the Blue Hose bats. Wednesday marked Dragoo's sixth multi-hit game of the season.
- Gorman picked up a pair of hits for his 10th multiple-hit game of the season as Wetherington added his fifth game with multiple base hits.
- Fahr now has a six-game hit streak and reached base safely in 13 consecutive contests. Both are the team-high marks among active streaks.
- Gorman pushed his reached base streak to 11 straight games.
- Dewberry connected on his first collegiate hit and first college homer on Wednesday as PC as a team tallied three homers which marks the eighth time this season the Blue Hose have multiple home runs.
