CLINTON, S.C.  – The Presbyterian Blue Hose will play their first two home matches of the season at the Templeton Center this week. First, the Blue Hose play the Furman Paladins on Thursday, September 14 at 6 p.m. Then, PC concludes the week of home matches against the Georgia State Panthers on Saturday, September 16 at 2 p.m.

- Junior outside hitter Hannah Rowe was named to the All-Tournament team after recording 26 kills and 35 digs in three games at the UNCW Hampton Inn University Invitational, August 25-26.
- Senior setter Kinsey Bailey earned UTA Classic All-Tournament honors after dishing out 44 assists with 26 digs in three matches, September 1-2.
- Sophomore setter Anna Baranski was named to the Terrier Invite All-Tournament team after dishing out 74 assists with 34 digs, September 8-9.

This season, Rowe leads the Blue Hose with 91 kills while also recording 86 digs. Senior opposite

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – FURMAN
- The Paladins enter Thursday's game with a 7-2 record with wins over Quinnipiac, Morgan State, UNC Asheville (twice), USC Upstate, South Carolina State, and Queens.
- Over their first nine matches this season, Furman averages 12.9 kills per set while posting a .239 hitting percentage.
- Junior outside hitter Ava Augustson has recorded 88 kills. Freshman libero Kennedy Seekford has recorded a team-high 132 digs this season.
- Michelle Young is in her 24th season as Furman's head coach.
- Furman leads the all-time series between the two teams, 15-3.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – GEORGIA STATE
- Georgia State plays at Furman this Friday night before coming to Clinton to play the Blue Hose. The Panthers are 3-6 on the season entering Friday's match with victories over South Carolina State, New Orleans, and Elon.
- As a team, Georgia State has a .146 hitting percentage while averaging 11.06 kills per set.
- Freshman outside hitter Jahniya Jackson has recorded 62 kills to lead Georgia State. Junior setter Laughlin Murray has dished out 153 assists. Junior libero Livy Kowalkowski has tallied 177 digs.
- The Blue Hose defeated the Panthers, 3-2, in Spartanburg, S.C. in their last match on September 16, 2022. Senior middle blocker Hailey Grocholski paced the Blue Hose with 13 kills in that match. Bailey had 39 assists.
- Terry Hutchinson is in his second season at the helm of the Georgia State program.
