DOUBLES
The 49ers earned the doubles point with wins in all three spots. At No. 2, Presbyterian's
McKenzie Davis and
Madison Dennett lost 6-4 to Charlotte's Emma Wilkins and Lucie Petruzelova. At No. 3 Charlotte's Lucia Aranda and Shona Nakano defeated Presbyterian's
Valentina De Sousa and
Claudia Sanchez 6-4, to clinch the doubles point.

SINGLES
Charlotte won the first four singles matchups in spots No. 1, No. 6, No. 2, and No. 4. Charlotte's top player, Lucia Quiterio, is ranked in the latest ITA singles rankings. At No. 5 singles, Presbyterian's De Sousa beat Charlotte's Wilkins 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9) to give the Blue Hose their first point. At the No. 3 spot Presbyterian's
Mathilde Delaney lost a close one to Charlotte's Aranda 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).
