Presbyterian lost to Gardner-Webb, 76-60, on the road this past Saturday. Junior guard Samage Teel led the Blue Hose with 14 points. Junior guard Marquis Barnett scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds. Senior guard Trevon Reddish-Rhone scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds.   
 
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBER – Barnett leads the team in scoring averaging 13.7 points per game while grabbing 4.3 rebounds and distributing 2.8 assists per game. Barnett leads the Big South in steals with 37 averaging 1.9 steals per contest. Teel is second on the team in scoring averaging 11.9 points per game while dishing out 2.8 assists per game. Teel has connected on a team-leading 28 three-point field goals. Junior forward Jonah Pierce leads the team in rebounding averaging 5.4 boards per game while averaging 9.0 points per game. Senior guard Kobe Stewart is second on the team in rebounding at 4.7 boards per game. Stewart chips in with 7.6 points per game while connecting on 17 threes. Junior guard Jamahri Harvey averages 9.0 points while connecting on 18 three-point field goals. Senior guard Crosby James has connected on 19 three-point field goals. Freshman guard Kory Mincy has knocked down 17 three-point field goals this season while averaging 6.7 points per game. Junior forward Kaleb Scott averages 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Reddish-Rhone averages 4.4 boards per game while averaging 5.3 points per game. Freshman guard Carl Parrish is one of seven PC players who have connected on double-figure three-point field goals with 12 made threes. As a team, PC is averaging 76.5 points per game.
 
BIG SOUTH LEADER IN FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE - Presbyterian leads the Big South Conference in field goal percentage shooting 48.1 percent (529-of-1100) from the field. This season, Presbyterian has had eight games shooting 50 percent or higher from the field. The Blue Hose shot a season-high 69.8 percent from the field in a win over Mid-Atlantic Christian on December 13. The Blue Hose shot 50.9 percent from the field against UNC Asheville on January 6.
 
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-FIGURE SCORERS - In 19 games, Presbyterian has had ten different players score in double-figures. Barnett (15 times), Teel (13 times), Harvey (nine times), Pierce (eight times), Stewart (six times), Mincy (five times), Scott (five times), Reddish-Rhone (three times), James (three times), and Parrish (twice) have all recorded double-digit scoring games this season.
 
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS - Mincy has been named Big South Freshman of the Week three times (December 11, December 18, and January 15). Junior guard Marquis Barnett garnered Big South Player of the Week honors (November 20).
 
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fifth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-HIGH POINT SERIES
Wednesday's game is the 35^th meeting between Presbyterian and High Point, who lead the series 23-11. Presbyterian lost to High Point, 71-69, in their previous game in the Templeton Center on February 15. Stewart and sophomore Quadir Pettaway each scored 12 points in the game.

Sophomore forward Kimani Hamilton is second in the Big South in rebounding averaging 8.1 boards per game. Hamilton is second on the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game.
