PC Drops Regular-Season Finale to Radford

CLINTON, S.C.   – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (7-5-4, Big South: 2-2-3) lost to the Radford Highlanders (8-3-5, Big South: 3-1-3), 3-0, in their final regular season game at Martin Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Presbyterian welcomed back former Blue Hose standout women's soccer players as part of their Alumni Day. In a postgame ceremony, the Presbyterian women's soccer program announced that they will name their locker room after former coach Brian Purcell and his wife Kim.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
In the 8th minute, Radford's Jashyra Johnson scored off a Paige Olson assist.
In the 44th minute, Radford increased their lead to 2-0 when Hunter Rosenberg scored.
In the 81st minute, Radford's Eileen Albers scored the game's final goal off a Olson assist.
 
NOTABLES
Presbyterian finished the game with 13 shots. Sloan Spees and Lindsey Malyszek led the Blue Hose with four shots apiece. Isabel Lasota recorded three shots. Lyla Chadd and Lina-Marie Muller each posted a shot.
The Blue Hose are expected to make the Big South Conference Tournament for the first time in five years and for the third time in the program's history.
