LAST TIME OUT – – Behind senior guard Kobe Stewart's double-double, the Presbyterian Blue Hose topped the Wofford Terriers, 71-68, in front of a loud energetic crowd in the Templeton Center on Wednesday night. Stewart scored 26 points (21 of the points were scored in the second half) and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Sophomore guard Carl Parrish scored 11 points and sophomore guard Kory Mincy added 10 points and four assists to Presbyterian's efforts.
 
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS – Presbyterian is averaging 85.5 points per game and 34.5 rebounds per game. The Blue Hose are shooting 54.5 percent from the field. Stewart leads three Blue Hose double-figure scorers averaging 18.3 points per game. Mincy is second on the team in scoring averaging 16.5 points while dishing out team-leading 7.0 assists per game. Senior forward Jonah Pierce is third on the team in scoring averaging 13.0 points while grabbing 6.0 rebounds per game. Parrish averages 9.8 points per game. Redshirt sophomore Jaylen Peterson leads the team in rebounding grabbing 6.8 boards per game.
 
BIG SOUTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Mincy was named Big South Co-Player of the Week on November 11. Mincy was the 10th player in the program's history to earn Big South Player of the Week honors. Mincy earned the award after averaging 18.7 points and eight assists in Presbyterian's home game against Carolina Christian and road games at Charlotte and NC State.
 
1,000 CAREER POINTS - Pierce recorded his 1,000th point in his college career with a basket with six seconds left in the Charlotte game  (November 4). Pierce went over the 1,000 points mark in impressive fashion scoring 22 points (shooting a perfect 11-for-11 from the field) in the game. Pierce began the season by making his first 16 shots.
 
DOUBLE-DOUBLES - In the first four games, the Blue Hose have had three double-double performances. Against Charlotte (November 4), Mincy scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists. Against Carolina Christian (November 6) Mincy scored 11 points and tallied 10 assists. Against Wofford (November 13) senior guard Stewart recorded his first double-double of the season with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
 
SCHOOL SCORING RECORD - Presbyterian scored a school Division I era record for points in a game with 120 in their season-opening win over Carolina Christian (November 6). Presbyterian had six double-figure scorers and 12 PC players scored at least two points in the game.
 
 PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his sixth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.

In their previous matchup, Kennesaw State defeated Presbyterian, 94-84, at PC's Templeton Center on December 16, 2023. Senior guard Jamahri Harvey scored 14 points and Mincy added 13 points to the Blue Hose's offensive attack.
