1,000 CAREER POINTS - Senior forward
Jonah Pierce recorded his 1,000th point in his college career with a basket with six seconds left in the Charlotte game (November 4). Pierce went over the 1,000 points mark in impressive fashion scoring 22 points (shooting a perfect 11-for-11 from the field) in the game. Pierce is a perfect 16-for-16 shooting from the field this season after going 5-for-5 in the win over Carolina Christian.
SCHOOL SCORING RECORD - Presbyterian scored a school Division I era record for points in a game with 120 in their season opening win over Carolina Christian (November 6). Presbyterian had six double-figure scorers and 12 PC players scored at least two points in the game.
DOUBLE DIGIT ASSISTS - Sophomore guard
Kory Mincy has begun the season with consecutive 10 assists games. In both those games, he scored in double-figures as well.
HOME OPENER – Presbyterian is 16-1 in their home opening game while a member of Division I. The Blue Hose defeated Carolina Christian, 120-45, in their home opener this past Wednesday.
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his sixth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.

PERFECT FROM THE FIELD – Jonah Pierce was a perfect 11-for-11 from the field scoring 22 points on the road at Charlotte on November 4. This season, he is a perfect 16-for-16 from the field.
BENCH POINTS - In Presbyterian's season-opening game at Charlotte, the Blue Hose finished the game with a 34-8 advantage in bench points behind 22 points from Pierce and 12 points from Parrish. In the win over Carolina Christian, Presbyterian had a 54-13 advantage in bench points. Last season, the Blue Hose ranked among the nation's leaders averaging 26.6 bench points per game.
PRESBYTERIAN – NC STATE SERIES
NC State defeated Presbyterian at home, 86-68, in their previous matchup on November 16, 2017. Presbyterian had an eight-point halftime lead but NC State began the second half on a 28-9 run to take control of the game. Former Blue Hose standout Reggie Dillard led the Blue Hose with 23 points and 7 rebounds. .
SCOUTING NC STATE
Last season, the Wolfpack won the ACC Tournament title and advanced to the Final Four. NC State began this season with a 97-66 home win over Big South Conference opponent USC Upstate this past Monday. Breon Pass scored a career-high 14 points. Ben Middle Brooks recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
