Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's basketball team (0-2) fell to the South Carolina State Bulldogs (1-1) in a close road game on Friday night.
Laney Scoggins led the Blue Hose with 14 points and six rebounds while also leading the team in minutes played.
Kishyah Anderson took 12 points with six rebounds, adding to the team's efforts.
The game began even in the first quarter with both teams racing to a 13-13 tie. Presbyterian came out on top at the half, with a score of 25-22. After the intermission, the Bulldogs edged ahead to claim a 44-39 advantage heading into the final 10 minutes of play. An even 15-15 battle in the fourth quarter ended the game with SC State ahead 59-54.
PC never had a quarter with less than 12 points, while holding their opponents to just nine points in the second quarter.
