The Presbyterian Blue Hose stormed back from a 20-point first half deficit in a 76-73 win over Radford Highlanders at the Templeton Center last Saturday afternoon. Junior guard Marquis Barnett scored 18 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out three assists. Junior guard Samage Teel scored 18 points while connecting on three three-point field goals including the game-winning triple from the wing with 1:17 on the clock. Teel also dished out three assists. Senior guard Trevon Reddish-Rhone scored 12 points.
 
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBER – Barnett leads the team in scoring averaging 14.5 points per game while grabbing 4.4 rebounds and distributing 2.6 assists per game. Barnett leads the Big South in steals with 47 averaging 1.8 steals per contest. Teel is second on the team in scoring averaging 12.9 points per game while dishing out 2.5 assists per game. Teel has connected on a team-leading 41 three-point field goals. Junior forward Jonah Pierce leads the team in rebounding averaging 5.0 boards per game while averaging 7.9 points per game. Senior guard Kobe Stewart is second on the team in rebounding at 4.8 boards per game. Stewart chips in with 7.7 points per game while connecting on 26 threes. Junior guard Jamahri Harvey averages 9.0 points while connecting on 18 three-point field goals. Senior guard James has connected on 28 three-point field goals. Freshman guard Kory Mincy has knocked down 19 three-point field goals this season while averaging 5.7 points per game. Junior forward Kaleb Scott averages 7.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Reddish-Rhone averages 4.1 boards per game while averaging 6.5 points per game. Freshman guard Carl Parrish is one of seven PC players who have connected on double-figure three-point field goals with 13 made threes. As a team, PC is averaging 75.6 points per game.

The Blue Hose shot a season-high 69.8 percent from the field in a win over Mid-Atlantic Christian on December 13. PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his fifth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-UNC ASHEVILLE SERIES
Wednesday's game will be the 40^th meeting between Presbyterian and UNC Asheville, who leads the series 28-11. UNC Asheville defeated Presbyterian, 84-80, in their first meeting this season at PC on January 6. Barnett led five Blue Hose double-figure scorers with 22 points in that game. UNC Asheville defeated Presbyterian, 88-80, in overtime in their previous meeting in Asheville on January 25, 2023. James scored 10 points in that game.
