CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (4-2) travel to Lynchburg, Virginia to play the Liberty Flames (4-2) at the Liberty Tennis Complex on Friday, February 9 at 5 p.m.

Denim Yadav have each recorded four singles wins this season. The doubles teams of Matos and Yadav and Cardoso and
Austin Skoog have both tallied two wins apiece.

LAST TIME OUT
Presbyterian posted two doubles wins and four singles victories in a 5-2 win over Queens at the Templeton Tennis Courts last Sunday afternoon which marked the third straight win for the Blue Hose. Matos, Yadav, Cardoso, and Mamalat tallied singles wins. Presbyterian won the doubles points after wins by the doubles teams of Matos and Yadav and Cardoso and
Evgenios Vasilakis.

BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
This week, Cardoso was named Big South Men's Tennis Player of the Week. He is the 14
th different player in the program's history to capture the Big South Player of the Week award. Cardoso claimed the award after recording three singles wins and three doubles wins with three different partners in helping the Blue Hose post a perfect 3-0 record last week.

PRESBYTERIAN-LIBERTY SERIES
Friday's match will be the 12
th meeting since 2009 between Presbyterian and Liberty, who holds a 6-5 series lead in those meetings. On April 16, 2018, Presbyterian defeated Liberty, 4-3, at home in their last meeting at that time Liberty was a member of the Big South Conference.

SCOUTING LIBERTY
This season, the Flames have wins over Radford, George Mason, James Madison, and Longwood. Luis Felipe Miguel, Chase Robinson, and Rodrigo Santiago Arraez have all collected four wins in dual match play. The doubles team of Luis Felipe and Matija Samardzic has won four matches this season with three of the wins coming at number three doubles. Head coach Derek Schwandt is in his seventh season at the helm of the Flames men's tennis program.
