CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (9-10) lost to the George Washington Revolutionaries (10-8) after a defensive shootout lasting 11 innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After an intense full 10 innings of baseball, the game remained scoreless with Presbyterian pitchers racking up a total of 14 strikeouts.
- In the top of the 11
th inning, the Revolutionaries hit a homer before putting two more on the board to go ahead 3-0 before the bottom of the 11
th.
- The Blue Hose were unable to pick up any runs in the final half inning, resulting in a 3-0 final score with George Washington in front.

- Charlies McDaniel pitched for the first 7.0 innings of the game where he threw for 10 strikeouts, while holding batters to just three hits and no runs.
