In a rematch of last year's Big South Championship final, which Presbyterian won, the Blue Hose (6-7, Big South: 1-0) travel to North Carolina to play the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (12-3, Big South: 0-0), on Tuesday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m.

Behind two doubles and five singles wins the Blue Hose began defense of their Big South regular-season title with a 6-1 win over the Longwood Lancers in the Templeton Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Pedro Cardoso leads the team with nine singles wins.
David Mamalat has recorded eight wins.
Javier Matos has collected seven wins all at number one singles.
Denim Yadav has posted five singles wins this season. The doubles teams of Matos and Yadav lead the team with five wins.
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
Cardoso has earned Big South Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors twice on February 7 and February 28. For the sixth time in the program's history, a Blue Hose player has earned multiple Big South Player of the Week awards in the same season.
Evgenios Vasilakis was named Big South Freshman of the Week on February 28. He is the 17
th player in the program's history to earn the award.
SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
Tuesday's match is the 17
th meeting between the two teams, Presbyterian leads the series, 9-7. Presbyterian defeated Gardner-Webb, 4-1, in the Big South Championship Finals in their last meeting. Matos and Yadav tallied singles wins in that match.
The Runnin' Bulldogs have won four of their last five matches which includes wins over Campbell, Chattanooga, Fairfield, and Wofford. Eduardo Dias leads the team with eight wins all at the number one sport. Kim Niethammer has tallied six wins all at number four singles.
