COACH SHARP'S THOUGHTS
"Today wasn't a great performance by our team. I thought CSU really played hard and with more edge than us. We need to regroup and get back to the team that we are. We have been playing really well and need to get that group together for next week."

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter – Bryanna Brady won the tip for the Blue Hose before Christina Kline hit a three-point dagger to start off the scoring. The Buccaneers took their first lead of the day after making a layup to make the score 6-5. CSU went on to take eight of the next 10 points to make the score 14-7. Mara Neira scored her first three-pointer of the game before Charleston Southern scored two more points, ending the first quarter with a 16-11 lead.

Second Quarter – The Buccaneers held PC to five points in the second quarter while picking up 10 points for themselves. The game went into halftime with CSU leading 26-16.

Third Quarter – The Blue Hose scored five of the first seven points coming out of the first half, cutting their deficit to seven points. Some back and forth kept the difference at seven points with a score of 33-26. Kline hit another one from distance which brought the opponents lead down to four-points. CSU scored the next seven points before a two-point jumper from Tilda Sjokvist ended their streak. Laney Scoggins was able to put two more on the board for PC, but the Buccaneer's led 45-33 after three
quarters of play.

Fourth Quarter – Charleston Southern took the first six points of the fourth quarter before a layup from Sjokvist. Some back and forth made the score 57-42 with CSU in front by 15 points. The Blue Hose were able to take seven more points, but ultimately the Buccaneer's secured a 68-49 win.
