The Presbyterian Blue Hose posted season-high scores in all six events as the Blue Hose rallied after a program all-time best score (93.31) in the Team Event to defeat the King Tornado, 262.210-253.730, on the road this past Tuesday.
PRESBYTERIAN NOTABLES
- Presbyterian's score of 262.210 in the win over King on March 5 was the highest in the program's history.
- The Open Toss team of Robyn Beeman, Jaleigh Richmond, Caroline Holter, Kylee Crumpler, Abby Katz, and Maya Reyes tied the program record score of 9.30 in Presbyterian's road win at King.
- The Blue Hose welcomed back nine letterwinners from last year's roster. Joining those returners are 14 talented newcomers on Presbyterian's 2024 roster.
- Challenging Schedule – Presbyterian played Limestone (February 18) and Talladega (February 25) at home earlier this season. Presbyterian will play Morgan State (March 22), and Bluefield State (March 30) in the Templeton Center later this season. Earlier this week, Presbyterian beat King (March 5) on the road. After Sunday's meet at Iona, the Blue Hose have road meets at Long Island University (March 14), and Saint Leo (April 11).

- The Gaels were ranked No. 15 in the NCATA Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Iona has wins over future Presbyterian opponents Long Island and Morgan State this season.
- In their most recent meet, the Gaels lost to the eight-time National Champion Baylor Bears, (272.880-253.46), at home on March 3.
ACROBATICS & TUMBLING MEET
A meet consists of six events: Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, Tumbling, and Team Event. Teams compete in a predetermined rotation order throughout each event. Events are immediately scored by officials.
