ANDERSON, S.C. - The Blue Hose Cross Country and Track teams continued their historic season at the Electric City Invitational at Anderson University on Saturday afternoon. The team ran away with five new school records.

On the men's team, Nizeyimana "Shadow" Aristide led the way with a new school record of 24.05 in the 200-meter race. He also set a new personal record in the 400-meter event, running a time of 53.20.
Samuel Wall also set a new personal record in the 400-meter race, posting a time of 55.01.

JJ Bartlett set the school standard in the mile event, posting a time of  5:04.86. Also in the mile race were
Noah Kaufman and
James Marler, who ran official times of 5:04.91 and 6:02.46, respectively.

Kaufman also competed in the 5000-meter event, with a time of 17:08.70.

In only his second race of the season,
James Crim improved upon his own school record, running a 100-meter race with a time of 11.74.

Bartlett and
William Johnson competed in the 800-meter event, with final times of 2:18.84 and 2:03.56, respectively.

For the women, Habana Rubio broke the school record that she set earlier this season, posting a time of 13.60 in the 100-meter race.

In the mile event,
Keyli Gomez set a school record in the mile, posting an official time of 5:46.37. Also in the mile race were
Caroline Rairigh and Abigail Donaldson, finishing with official times of 6:02.20 and 6:08.82, respectively.

Eliana Watson improved upon her previous personal record in the 200-meter event, running a time of 31.25.
Isabel Whitman ran in the 200-meter race as well, posting a time of 29.17.

Five women participated in the 800-meter event and their times are as follows:
Isabel Whitman - 2:33.22;
Caroline Rairigh - 2:42.64;
Keyli Gomez - 2:41.81;
Eliana Watson - 2:44.62; and Abigail Donaldson - 2:49.62.
