HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (19-19, BSC: 10-3) fell to the High Point Panthers (20-18, BSC: 9-4) despite a pair of homers in the top of the first inning.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Joel Dragoo got the Blue Hose started with a bomb over the center field wall in the top of the first inning to take an early lead. As the next batter,
Noah Lebron matched Dragoo with a longball to center field, putting PC ahead 2-0.
- High Point answered in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run homer to tie up the score.
- Another Panther's home run in the bottom of the second inning put them in front 3-2.
- After a quiet third inning,
Jack Gorman reached on a fielder's choice before
Jackson Hugus sent him home with an RBI double to left field.
- A three-run homer run from the opponents in the fourth inning pushed their lead to a score of 6-3.
- High Point took seven more runs over the next four innings while holding PC scoreless, to extend their lead to a score of 13-3.
- With the Blue Hose unable to score in the top of the ninth inning, High Point took victory in game one.
