CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's tennis team (9-10, BSC: 1-2) fell to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers (9-6, BSC: 2-1) with a score of 5-2.

DOUBLES
The Buccaneers took a win at the No. 1 spot in doubles before Presbyterian answered with a win at the No. 2 position behind a 6-2 victory from
Lucianna Piedra and
Madison Dennett over CSU's Jessica Braun and Khyanna Singh. Charleston Southern took the doubles point after getting a win at the No. 3 slot.
SINGLES
Charleston Southern earned the first two singles points with wins at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions. Dennett put the Blue Hose on the board with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 win over the Buccaneer's Singh. Wins at the No. 6 and No. 1 spots secured the match for Charleston Southern, but
Claudia Sanchez finished out strong to win her singles match over CSU's Braun with a score of 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.
