BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Mamalat and
Pedro Cardoso are tied for the team lead with 10 wins apiece.
Javier Matos has collected seven wins all at number one singles. Yadav has posted six singles wins this season. The doubles tandem of Matos and Yadav lead the team with six wins. The doubles teams of Cardoso and Vasilakis has posted five wins. The Blue Hose have captured the doubles point eight times this season.
BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
Matos was named Big South Player of the Week on March 20. Cardoso has garnered the award twice this season on February 7 and February 28.
Vasilakis has captured two Big South Freshman of the Week awards on February 28 and March 20.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
Saturday's match is the 19
th meeting between the PC and Campbell. Each team has won nine matches in the series. Presbyterian has won the last two contests between the two teams which included a 4-2 victory in the semifinals of last season Big South Tournament. Mamalat and Matos collected singles wins in that match.
Campbell plays UNCW on the road on Friday so entering that match the Camels have won four of their last five matches. Benjamin Maes and Lukas Steffen have posted nine singles wins apiece. Maes's wins have come at number one and two singles. Steffen has posted wins on court two, three, four and five this season. The doubles tandem of Maes and Damien Nezar lead the team with seven wins all at the number one spot.
