The Presbyterian Blue Hose (7-11, Big South: 2-1)  welcomes the UNC Asheville Bulldogs (12-6, Big South: 2-1) at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Monday, April 8 at 2 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Evgenios Vasilakis posted a win at number four singles but Presbyterian lost to Campbell, 6-1, on the road this past Saturday.  

BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
David Mamalat and Pedro Cardoso are tied for the team lead with 10 wins apiece. Javier Matos has collected seven wins all at number one singles. Denim Yadav and Vasilakis have each recorded six singles wins this season. The doubles tandem of Matos and Yadav lead the team with six wins. The doubles teams of Cardoso and Vasilakis have posted five wins. The Blue Hose have captured the doubles point eight times this season.

BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
Matos was named Big South Player of the Week on March 20. Cardoso has garnered the award twice this season on February 7 and February 28.
 
Vasilakis has captured two Big South Freshman of the Week awards on February 28 and March 20.

SCOUTING UNC ASHEVILLE
Monday's match will be the 20^th meeting between Presbyterian and UNC Asheville. The Blue Hose have won 13 of the previous meetings including four straight in the series. The Blue Hose defeated the Bulldogs, 6-1, on the road in their most recent match on April 12, 2023. Presbyterian won the doubles point and Yadav, Matos, and Mamalat collected singles wins.

Freddy Murray leads the Bulldogs with 12 wins with 10 of those wins coming at number one singles. Jon Brann Reid has picked up 12 wins with the majority of them coming at number three singles. Sam Nicholson and Bruno Serra have 10 wins apiece. The doubles teams of Rafa Serra and Brann Reid and Nicholson and Murray have collected nine wins apiece.
