CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team (26-24) took down The Citadel Bulldogs (18-30) 9-6 in the second game of their series behind home runs from
Joel Dragoo and
Jackson Hugus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the bottom of the first inning,
Joel Dragoo hit a home run over the left-center field wall, giving the Blue Hose an early one-run lead.
- The Citadel responded in the top of the third inning, scoring three runs to take the lead.
- In the fourth inning,
Noah Lebron's double down the right field line set the stage for
Jake Randolph's single through the left side, advancing Lebron to third.
Jack Gorman then brought Lebron home with a sacrifice fly.
- The Bulldogs extended their lead to two runs in the top of the fifth inning, making the score 4-2.
- In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on first and third,
Brody Fahr's double to left-center field brought in both runners, tying the game at four runs each. Later in the inning, Lebron scored on a passed ball, putting PC ahead 5-4.
- In the sixth inning,
Ryan Becker's single and
Mikah Conner's subsequent run on a wild pitch added to PC's lead. A series of plays including a sacrifice bunt, a walk, and an RBI single by Dragoo, pushed the Blue Hose further ahead, ending the inning with a score of 7-4.
- The Citadel closed the gap to one run with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning, Gorman's walk and
Jackson Hugus's home run over left-center field extended PC's lead to three runs.
- With no further scoring in the final two innings, the Blue Hose secured a 9-6 victory in game two.

Joel Dragoo made history by becoming the program's Division I single-season RBI record holder when he smashed his 16th home run in the bottom of the first inning.
