Presbyterian coach
Nick Finotti is in his second season at the helm of the Blue Hose program. The Blue Hose returned 12 letterwinners headlined by preseason All-Big South Conference selections senior
Damorney Hutchinson, who was the Preseason Big South Offensive Player of the Year, and senior midfielder
Carson Griffith. The Blue Hose added 20 talented newcomers to the 2024 roster.
Notables
- For the 12th time in the program's history, the Blue Hose started the season at home. Since joining Division I, after Saturday's win the Blue Hose are 9-8-1 all-time in their home opening game.
- In the win over Erskine, Presbyterian set Division I era school records for goals with nine, assists with seven, and points with 25.
Presbyterian - ETSU Series
The Bucs have won four of the last meetings between the two teams. ETSU defeated Presbyterian, 3-0, in their last meeting in Johnson City on September 17. 2019. In their last game, Presbyterian lost to ETSU, 2-1, at home on September 16, 2023. Griffith scored Presbyterian's goal on a penalty kick early in the second half of that game.
Scouting ETSU
- Presbyterian marks the third straight Big South opponent that ETSU will face this season. The Bucs defeated Longwood, 3-1, at home and then lost to USC Upstate, 2-0, on the road this year.
- ETSU head coach Allen Vital is in his first season at the helm of the Bucs program.
