Box Score JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's soccer team (1-0-1) tied 1-1, on the road against the ETSU Buccaneers (1-1-1) on Thursday night after a late game goal by Carson Griffith.

"Difficult game on the road. ETSU was physical and effective without the ball in their pressing. We grew into the game and created a.number of quality opportunities to win the game. Credit to our players for composing themselves after conceding and remaining true to our identity. Looking forward to a day off, breaking down video, and preparing for our next match."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 14^th minute ETSU's Ryan Suckling scored the first goal of the night, stemming from an earlier corner kick.
- Griffith was awarded a penalty kick in the 79^th minute where his first shot was saved, but he kept with it and put one in the back of the net to tie up the score at one goal apiece.
 
NOTABLES
- Presbyterian goal keeper Loan Marin finished the night with four saves.
- The Blue Hose finished the game with a 17-12 advantage in shots.
- In the 2^nd minute of the game, Damorney Hutchinson took a shot at the bottom right corner of the net that was saved by the Buccaneer's goal keeper.
- Presby's Sandro Rabarivony recorded a shot on goal in the 42^nd minute, but was saved by ETSU's goal keeper.
- Hutchinson put his second shot on net in the 50^th minute before Morgan Dance matched his shot not long after.
- Hutchinson took another shot in the 84^th minute, but a save from ETSU kept the score tied.
